Inro 印籠
Inro 印籠 - Bench
This bench has an inlay fish that is inspired by the Japanese "Inro" tradition.
Inro is the Japanese word for small lacquer boxes carried by the Samurai class. The boxes were often carved and inlayed with motives like fish and other animals.
The fish was carved by master carver David Svane
