Travel - Japan - Part III
This was my first trip to japan. It was supported by the Gurli and Paul Madsen foundation and many other funds. The main goal was to visit a lot of craftsmen and to work in several Japanese companies for three months.
During my stay in Japan I visited so many amazing workshops. Here are a few of them in pictures. In Yamanaka I visited mr. Kawagita a living national treasure in Japanese woodturning and the woodturning school in Yamanaka. In Takayama I visited the famous wood carvers and saw the Yoshijima house.

Mr. Shoji sensei showed me around the school and I made a lecture for the students.
