I made these Trays with the purpose of experimenting with the newly invented bending technique "Precompressed wood".

The sides are bent in the way that the grain of the wood follows the shape of the tray. The trays can be stacked and also used upside down.

They were awarded the Arts and Crafts prize Bronze medal 1999, and it was presented by her Majesty the queen of Denmark.
