Touch wood
1997
"Touch Wood" was a playful exhibition made by the woodworkers association, showing some interesting joinery. Many of the woodjoints was inspired from japanese joinery. The woodjoints could be taken apart by the visitors.
In the middle of the room there was a construction with frames showing interesting veneers and japanese Kumiko joinery.
The show piece of the exhibition was a chair made by 4 different kinds of wood joined in 17 different ways, made by Theis Dich Abrahamsen.
I made the big frame construction and some of the Japanese wood joints.
