The Clips II chair is a light chair out of standard Birch plywood. It is entirely made on CNC machines.

The chair plays with the material's two dimensions with a white outside and a shiny red inside. It shows in a logical way how to assemble a two dimensional material into a strong three dimensional form.

The prototype was made for a project called skudpaastammen.dk. In this project appretice cabinetmakers work together with furniture designers to build prototypes in the Technical schools workshops.
